When Jake Kelly realizes it's his dead friend's twenty-year-old daughter he just saved from a fire, will he douse the hot lick of desire he feels or give in to what they both want and make her his?

This 11,000+ word mirror of Red Hot Daddy is for readers who enjoy explicit sex, older men with younger women and firemen (firefighters) without the taboo.

Excerpt from the inside!

A little after midnight I woke to the weight of Lisa's hand on my shoulder.

I took a deep breath in, clearing my head. In my dream, she'd had her lips wrapped around my cock, her mouth too full to say my name. "What is it, baby girl?"

"I can't sleep. I close my eyes -- it's like a gorilla sitting on my chest."

I needed to tell her to go back to bed and put the radio on, that the flicker of sound would keep the memories of the apartment fire at bay. The last thing I needed, my body aroused by her presence and the echoes of my dream, was to have her in bed with me.

Sliding across the mattress, I pulled the blanket back. "You can sleep in here. Will that help?"

She slipped in next to me and burrowed against my side. Throwing an arm across my chest, she whispered "Yes."

I covered our bodies with the blanket and wrapped my arms around her, my chin resting against the crown of her head. It felt good holding her, knowing that I could help ease the tremble running through her. I stroked her arm, kissed the top of her head.

Listened to her breathe.

Breathing is such a simple thing, really, but it's also complicated as hell. I'm highly attuned to its variations. In my job, lives depend on it. I've learned to tell when the sounds coming over my ear piece are from a fatigue bordering on collapse or when one of my team is starting to panic like a rookie at his first fire.

Listening to Lisa breathe brought with it a slow realization.

She was aroused -- turned on. The shaking wasn't from fear now -- if it ever had been. She squirmed, pressed closer to me. Her hand cupped my shoulder and she rubbed her thumb across my collarbone.

"Baby girl?"

A sleepy mumble issued from her but I knew it was a sham. She wasn't falling asleep, not with the way she was breathing. She relaxed into me, her leg slipping over mine.

"Lisa, baby, you can't do this."

Her whole body tensed -- her hand, the flex of her thigh, her chest as she stopped mid-breath.

"I understand. Really, I do." I took a hard swallow. Finding the right thing to say wasn't going to be easy. "You almost died last night. You want to feel safe and I made you feel safe..."

Her words softly slipped in as I paused, stumbling for a better explanation.

"You walked through fire for me, Jake."

I really enjoyed this story, but I wish it were longer. Just when things really heat up, it's over. But it's definately worth this money.
