Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Meredith Kiger
A clever step-by-step hands-on approach to learning to tie shoes. The actual shoelaces are provided to practice each step, which is ingeniously illustrated on separate pages of heavy cardboard and accompanied by rhyming text. After a few readings, most children will be able to follow the directions visually. A nice gift for the preschooler or new parent.

This is the best book for even the most challenged children ( ADHD ).

If your child has a hard time keeping focused, then this is the book for you! The big pictures, two colored laces, and straight to the point directions, makes this book a wonderful must have for children!!!

Make it fun for your little one while they learn to tie their shoes.

This is a great flip chart book that illustrates step by step instructions on shoe tying. The rabbit ears method is used with different color shoe laces to make it easier to follow. The book has a shoe on the bottom of the book with one red lace and one yellow lace that pull out of the book so you can actually learn to tie shoes while reading this book. A great interactive book.

    Did not work for us

This book came recommended by my 5 year old's teacher. However it didnt work for my son. In fact, he found it to be quite confusing. We're still working on shoe tying the traditional way.

    Life Saver!!!

My son was having difficulty learning to tie his shoes. In turn I bought this book. It was wonderful! We read through it several times and then he followed the illustrations over and over. Long story short, he can tie his shoes with no problems at all. He loves this book and I cant wait until my daughter gets old enough to learn how to tie her shoes!
