Meet the Author

Deanna Wadsworth leads a pretty vanilla life in Northwest Ohio. She loves to spend time laughing with the best friend, and husband of 13 years, in their basement bar or at the sandbar in the middle of the muddy Maumee River. Her three dogs and margaritas are usually somewhere in the mix too! She loves all the taboo and bizarre things in life and somehow these things manage to worm their way into her writing.

The main character in this book is Red, with the other character known as Master.  You really don’t learn what Master’s real name is, you just find out “what” he is. He is a take charge guy and expects everything his says to be obeyed.  Red has always had everything and so she is a little full of herself. Not in a mean way, but in a way that she really just doesn’t know any better.  You know that Red likes to tease men but will it always end the same or will something else happen?

Even though this is a short read, it had a great plot and I really loved this little story. It put a whole new spin on the old fairy tale and I can say that I liked this version better than the childhood one. It had all the old characters in it plus one more which I really liked.  There was a lot of excitement because you never knew what was going to happen.

I liked the moral that this story gave me but I can’t really tell you much with spoiling it.  I will say that you witness the sexual awakening of a young woman who doesn’t know what her body is really telling her with men taking advantage of that.  You will have a man come in to take care of her and make her find out what her body is really craving. You’ll also find out that everyone isn’t what they seem.  I will warn you that this is a pretty erotic read and may not be for all. If you like a story that makes your blood run hot and gives you that extra feeling then this is the book for you.
