Short story about a totally forgotten mission, the men who were a part of it and how the Red Tails helped make the mission a success! Excellent!

Good reading however brief.   Forewarned, this ‘book’ is only 25 pages long.

I had heard of the Tuscagee Airman but that's all. The author in few pages filled in the blanks and provided insight into who they were, why they existed, and what they accomplished, all while telling the story of the rescue of the lost 500. Great story!

Just finished the short Redtails. I then had to research The Forgotten 500. As a woman who doesnt really have much interest in war stories I have been drawn into the story of the Tuskeegee Airmen, the Forgotten 500 and the rally to save them. Both books are must reads for all Americans. WE can all be proud to have had men and women, and to have those now that will fight for our freedoms.

It is right by the norr path that leads to the pool which means injured warriors dont have to swim very far to get to this den.
