This book way better then the third book. Though I still didn't love the ending. Which once again ends on a cliff hanger. On the next....

Picking up where the previous book left off, Eve is reeling from Asher's absence but the upcoming war doesn't allow time for grief as she's given a new handler. Though she's young she knows she has to put her pain behind her and under Gage's tutelage she's becoming stronger and more independent. Whereas Asher tended to over-protect her Gage lets her stand on her own, only stepping in when he needs to. Though she grows close to Gage it's no love match. There's mutual respect and deep friendship, which is somewhat tainted by his subtly questionable nature that leaves me worried about his loyalties as at times he seems clearly entrenched on the side of good, while at other times..... No matter what though I found him a compelling and delectable yet mysterious man. Through it all Asher is still Eve's one and only love which becomes more complicated upon his return and as the truth of their bloodlines is revealed. Their relationship is frowned upon by the Council which adds in even more emotional turmoil in addition to the truths about each of them revealed here. Asher is a strong and overwhelming man who consumes the scenes he's in. He's poetic and romantic and will always protect Eve. Knowing what we know about them now though gives their relationship a Romeo and Juliet vibe. Along with these main characters being the lynchpin of this story, former secondary characters step into the spotlight here too. Callan continues to entertain and his humor is greatly appreciated in a story arc getting deeper and more emotionally intense. McKenna is a strong-willed and very outspoken woman. While some might see her as crass, I appreciated her brutal honesty in saying what needed to be said. Their contributions and interactions with others lightened my mood and made for a more emotionally well-rounded story. This is a story that takes you on a wild ride. It's full of twists and turns, laughter and tears, along with truths revealed and a traitor on the loose. Hell's getting ever closer and with the kidnapping of someone close to Eve there's a sense of doom on the horizon, a helplessness that evil will prevail. Seeing Eve get stronger gives us hope for the future, but with an ending that leaves you screaming in agony it's anyone's guess what the future will bring. With its well-developed world-building, multi-faceted characters, and sensual and maturing romance between Asher and Eve this is a story getting more compelling. Though this book quickly fills you in on what's come before, readers will find it more richly rewarding having read it from the start. Those who enjoy a vividly drawn fantasy that puts readers on an emotional roller coaster will want to hop on this compelling journey with lots of travails yet to reveal!

I'm stunned by this book. I haven't read the previous two, so I have no idea what happens in them and yet I was able to follow along for 97% of the book without being confused.  I'm slightly, okay really disappointed this book came out this past month.  That means what happens next probably isn't ready to be published.  That means I'm going to have to wait and waiting stinks.  Anyone who is waiting on a sequel will agree.   I'm really wondering where I've been and how I've missed reading this series before.  The book started off with Eve in pain and I wanted to comfort her, but also I wanted to know why and everything was revealed in a timely manner.  I was very quickly and easily able to relate to Eve.  I really liked her.  I understood how upset she was with having free will taken from her in all regards of her life, but being told she should be grateful for having free will.   I'm really looking forward to finding out the identity of the traitor in the war that's begun and how it's going to affect Eve and Asher.  I'm still undecided on Asher.  I don't know if everything he does is for Eve or to fill some need he has.  He is hot though and the barriers between him and Eve being together look difficult to overcome.  I'm also undecided about Gage.  I do know he's on probation, which means his motives aren't clear when it comes to Eve.  I'm eager to see how everything plays out.   Randi Cooley Wilson has really surprised me.  I was dragging my feet to read this and instead ended up devouring it.  The story is rich with lots of details and her world building is really good.  It's good enough not to confuse someone new to the series and world.  I can't wait to see how she thrills in book four.

LOVED LOVED LOVED IT! If you have read the first two books and you liked them ,then you are going to love this one! You know how sometimes books in a series tend to get boring? No this time! The third book is even better than the first two books! Only Randi Cooley Wilson could pull that off! If you loved Eve and Asher, then you don't want to miss how their relationship grows and how hot things can be between them! You also don't want to miss the lovely St.Michaels family! Plus you may even grow fonder of Gage! I know, i did! New realms and new " wicked" are introduced. Are you sure you wanna miss them??? So what are you waiting for? Go grab "Redemption" and get lost in Randi's amazing writing and dream about your own gargoyle!

4-1/2 stars. This is my favorite book in the series. So much happens that I almost couldn't catch my breath. Almost. The author skillfully ensures that I could in fact catch my breath. But just barely, before she sent me careening off again. Eve is adjusting to life without Asher, but not very well. Things go from bad to worse when she finds out who is now in charge of protecting her.  She's thrust from one crazy adventure to the next with danger around every corner. There are some bittersweet moments, including her reunion with Asher, but because this is the Revelation series, it's only the calm before the storm. I love where Eve and Asher are relationship-wise in Redemption. And I love the themes woven throughout. The stakes are higher than ever this time around and Eve learns a devastating secret that changes everything. Plot As always, Randi Cooley Wilson plots like a fiend. So much happens, but I never lost sight of the story. The main plot is strong and the subplots wind through like tiny vines, enhancing the main plot rather than detracting from it. World Building This is where Redemption really shines. Everything from the world of Gargoyles to heaven and hell and everything in between (leprechauns anyone?) is richly detailed and thoroughly developed. Characters The characters are the same ones we know and love, with no new major characters introduced. I see some growth in a few characters, less in others. I'd like to see Eve do a little more growing up in the next book. In fact, I believe that's exactly where she's headed based on how things end. Top Five Things I Love About  Redemption 1. Eve and Asher's relationship. I love where it's going. 2. Callan's aprons. I mean, come on, they're awesome! 3. The growing tension between Asher and Keegan. This has potential to building into a wicked conflict. 4. The Leprechauns. They're not what you think. 5. The big revelation. No, I won't give it away, but I kick myself for not seeing it coming. Bottom Line I love Redemption, with all of its twists and turns, passion, danger, and yes, even the cliffhanger ending. Disclaimer I was provided with a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.

*** 5 STONE STATE BED SEXY TIME STARS *** I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I'm trying my damnedest to not let my love for this author produce a biased review! In all honesty, I hadn't even heard of Randi Cooley Wilson until my Kindle (AKA my BFF) decided to full on assault my  list brandishing the Revelation series. About 5 pages was all it took. Devouring Revelation and Restraint in a mere 48 hours, I was left with a huge Asher shaped hole in my heart for months. Needless to say, the opportunity to read and  review Redemption was the equivalent to sweet baby Jesus parting the heavens and supplying me with a lifetime of chocolate. **Synopsis taken from cover** A LOVE RETURNS.  A LOYALTY IS BROKEN.  AND WAR BEGINS.  For Eve Collins, darkness has descended after her love vanished into the night sky. A new protector has been appointed,  one who challenges everything she’s believed to be true. In this third installment of The Revelation Series, Eve will  become aware of dangers and worlds that exist only in her nightmares, and bloodline secrets that will trigger a centuries old war. You can escape anything, except your destiny. I have to say, this book is my favorite of Randi's series so far. I can always count on a good emotional roller coaster when  it comes to her books but this one... the feels I tell you. The most significant character evolution to me was Eve. I really feel  like she is FINALLY coming into her own in Redemption. Randi does such a phenomenal job of transitioning Eve from an  unsure and essentially people pleasing puppet, to a strong and decisive, take charge kind of girl. Can I get a "Hell yeah"! Gage- Let's talk about Mr sex on a stick shall we? FINALLY we start to learn the history and inner turmoil that drives this fine  specimen of a man. Nicotine induced lust fest for all you ladies! I was pretty "take it or leave it" with Gage in the previous  books (GASP, I know) but Redemption took all those wishy washy feelings I had towards the gritty Adonis and turned them upside down! Let's not forget our star crossed lovers. As always, Eve and Asher's love is the all encompassing, reality blurring kind. The  secrets, half truths and not to sound trite, but revelations in this book, test their relationship more than ever. Eve becoming  more comfortable and confident in her own skin is incredibly prevalent in the way their relationship grows and matures and  the way Randi pens this progression is seamless. Let's not forget the sexy time though- I mean naughty Asher is what we all  live for right? Shield your ovaries ladies...they may just explode with this one. "But when this is all over, when all battles have been fought and won, it's you and me, siren. I promise. I'll fight for us. I'll light  the world on fire if I have to. If it takes my last damn breath, I will lay my sword at your feet in front of every realm and every being  in existence. Claiming you as mine forever."- Asher ^^^ This... I don't even need to explain. ^^^ I've come to the conclusion that I must have been a terrible person in a previous life and Ms Wilson has been put on this earth to  torture me with her cliffhangers. WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME RANDI??!! I swear the woman is a sadistic genius. Alas, here's  to a few more lonely months of sub par books and longing for my favorite gargoyle. Randi- You rock my literary world. And for  those of you who have yet to read the Revelation series, I highly suggest drinking the kool aid!
