I've read this book 10 times during my 12 years as a beliver in Jesus Christ. Each time I gleen some new nugget of truth. I've heard several people say it's a challenging book to read; it is challenging! Challenging us to the complete surrender to our Lord and Master, our Counselor and Saviour. Was this review helpful? The Intercessor, the Minister: In its truest definition, advocates his or her position between God and men. Chapter 12 illustrates these definitions best: Identification, agony and authority. I see and read in Rees's life, though actively involved in the physical, whereas in the spiritual, therein lies in all of us that inner turmoil and the need to define conformity between our true and false identity. Prevailing prayer defined; Communion between God and men defined; Love towards another defined and finally, our truest identity defined. I highly recommend. Was this review helpful?
