About the Author

At 6-years-old, Reese was diagnosed with a very rare hip condition called coxa vara. She attended many appointments to better understand her condition and what could be done for her. She also prepared for and had surgery at age 7. Throughout the process, Reese's parents helped her find ways to support herself and others. This book is one way they seek to do so. With the help of her mother, Reese took her passion for writing and shared her surgery adventure.
