All Music Guide - Heather Phares
John Barrowman's third album Reflections From Broadway showcases the stage and TV performer's commanding voice in another collection of show tunes and contemporary pop, including "Can You Feel the Love Tonight," "Anyone Can Whistle," "Easy to Love," "The Boy From Nowhere," and "Not While I'm Around." A pleasant addition to a Broadway or pop vocal fan's collection.

I can listen to him sing Sunset Boulevard over and over and over

I can listen to him sing Sunset Boulevard over and over and over again. I saw him perform on the West End and he is brilliant in person. This CD brought a bit of that into my car with me where I could sign out loud with him. This disc is a lovely sampler of some beautiful male vocals from all kinds of musicals. I highly recommend it.

    Pure beauty

This voice is pure, clear and strong. While I enjoy his acting, I truly hope there will be more music from Mr. Barrowman. His is that rare talent that takes the listener into the music and for that moment, I am in another place.

    wow!

Can this guy sing!! I haven't heard a male vocalist put across a ballad like Barrowman can in years. Each selection is electrifying with The Boy From Nowhere and Red, Red Rose as standouts. His version of Being Alive should go down as the definitive rendition.
