While reading these poems I found 1-2 spelling errors. Although I am aware that the author used her personal experiences to write, I felt at times that she tried "too hard" to make her words rhyme. The one poem that did catch my attention the most was "May 1st". This poem was about a father who decided to take his life. This particular writing made me feel the pain and anguish of the person affected. I do believe that with time this author will develop stronger capabilities to convey her message(s) to her audience and not hold back her true talent. Zandra Barnes AAMBC Reviewer
