    Bonhoeffer: Reflections on the Bible

    This book shows Bonhoeffer's love of the Bible, as well as his struggle with it when for days or weeks on end he does not or cannot read the Bible. This gives me hope. His reflections are always thought-provoking, educational, and challenging. Bonhoeffer does not want us to rest but to view and use the Bible as a living conversation with God. The chapters are short enough to be used for devotional reading, and they cover portions of the Bible from Genesis to the Epistles. If you have read Bonhoeffer before, you will know that the Psalms are a special favorite of his, and they are not omitted here.
