PG-RATED FUN

This book is #2 of the popular Chick Flick Clique series. Book #1 is Pride and Precipitation, just 99 cents!

REGALLY BLONDE (Chick Flick Clique Romantic Comedy #2)
Former beauty queen Jamie Summers has more problems than just world peace to worry about.

When Jamie returns to her hometown of Aspen Grove, her mother’s Chick Flick Clique friends are exceedingly curious about the state of her relationship with long-time boyfriend Christopher Ellington.

Jamie is curious, herself. When Christopher proposes for the third time, she hesitantly accepts. Since he immediately leaves for an extended overseas business trip, she’s relieved to have some time to get used to the idea, placing the ring safely beside her tiara and not mentioning it to anyone.

New neighbor David Stevens has good reason to avoid beautiful women, but when his three-year-old daughter Sunny sees Jamie, she’s convinced she’s her mommy. He begins to learn more about her, he realizes she’s not like his ex-wife, and he’s glad she’s not wearing any man’s ring.

How did life get so complicated so quickly? Jamie’s gone from Miss California to Miss America to Big Mistake. Is she about to lose everyone she's come to care about?

Meet the Author

Raised overseas by her shop-til-you-drop mother and pay-for-the-purchases oilman father, avid mystery and romantic comedy lover Heather read her way through Colombia, Venezuela, London, Kuwait, and Iran--and later bought a video store so she could watch stories on the little screen, too.

She loves anyone who can make her laugh, which explains why she adores her witty husband, her funny friends, Anne George mysteries, Bill Cosby, and her cute little dog Gus. She loves to cook for friends, siblings, and especially her children and stepchildren and their families. She and her husband reside in Utah. You can find her online at www.BooksByHeatherHorrocks.com.

    Didn't like.

Found it stupid and insulting to my limited intelligence. Boring.

This book cracked me up! A beauty queen with relationship problems is just funny. The little girl, Sunny, is pretty much adorable, and the complications in the story are so hilarious! I know I love a book when I keep going "oh no!" while I'm reading the story. This rocky road to romance is so worth the trip. I loved the chick flick click friends--great idea--and I can't wait to see more of them in this fun series.

Heather Horrocks has done it again with Regally Blonde!.
Another charming, clean romantic comedy. I never have to worry about bad content in Heather's books! I loved Sunny, the Sunbeam. She knew who her mommy was supposed to be---it just took the adults a while to figure it out! I recommend this book for anyone who wants a cute, fun story!
