Great book on Reiki.Very clear and thorough, lots of info based on actually experience.Reiki for Life is good for any beginner but also for advanced practitioners that want to see another point of view of a well versed Reiki master. All info is well organized and very clear, easy to follow. It looks like Penelope Quest put a lot of research into this Reiki guide, sharing from her experience and also new information on Reiki that came from Japan during the recent years.I have read several books on this subject and Reiki for Life is the best so far. Also the price this book makes it a great buy!

    Amazing Guide/Handbook

Very detailed, easy to comprehend Guide/Handbook. So many helpful tools and ideas. After reading it is an amazing reference tool to use regularly. I would recommend reading it before a Reiki instruction and attunement and then again after. Great for preparing yourself on what to expect then reviewing again later. It all just comes together! It is a MUST have for anyone beginning the life of Reiki.5 stars!

    Confusing

I take Reiki and there is so much information in here that I subsequently discussed with my teacher. Distance reiki has to be used with another symbol?... Not true... I do distance reiki with no additional symbols. You have to clear a room?... Not true. I don't do this and reiki works just fine. She won't publish the symbols?... I understand that they are sacred, and it's fine if she won't publish them, but you can look them up on the internet. If you are interested in Reiki, read this book first and then you will have the information to go to your teacher and ask questions as you are learning... not after you learned, and be confused like I am.
