Roadmap for a Healthy Long-Lasting Relationship This book is absolutely wonderful and just the type of book I would recommend to a friend who is interested in finding long lasting love. In today’s world, finding “good love” might seem like an arduous task but if we first get to know and love ourselves for who we really are then we are sure to attract the right life partner. The author dissects the topic of relationships in a way that is easily understood and very pragmatic. Highlights: • To deepen your understanding of love you need to delve into the subconscious mind. • There may be things in the relationship that you don’t and won’t agree with, but in spite of all this, he or she will love you. • Convey your feelings. •To say “I love you” may be very exciting, but when you do, be ready for any response. •A common mistake people make is getting into a relationship because they are lonely. •Experiencing the desire to be in a relationship is only natural. It is a biological occurrence and there is nothing unhealthy or immoral about it. •Love figures in a big way into everyone’s lives. Some dream about it, some romanticize about it and others deny it. But it is always an in vogue topic of discussion. •The only way we can accept this truth is if we come out of our fairytale worlds and believe in “conscious mating.” •You must be perceptive enough to understand the significant crossroads that life may present and be wise, experienced and confident enough to tackle them. •Be patient and wait for the right person to fall in love with. McKenzie McPherson Author of “Lessons from Generation X to Generation Next”
This book offers great insight on how to find the love of your life. Tiffany delves into the psyche of a person and reveals what you need to look for when searching for a mate. With my years of experience as a romance concierge and dealing with couples as clients, I can definitely say she is right on the money! Do not hesitate to purchase this book if you are serious about finding Mr. or Mrs. Right.
What a great book. Most books I've read about more on a women thought process but this one has thoughts on men too. It also gives you step by step guidance if your ready to get in a relationship.
Relationship Roadmap is a very good and easy read book for individuals interested in beginning their journey to seeking a relationship. This is a blueprint if you will that helps them find out about who they are before they enter into the relationship. Once they know who they are they can approach being in a relationship from a more holistic viewpoint. People are tired of the hype! Kudos to you for sharing the TRUTH about what people need to do in order to get the relationship they want (requiring their participation)!
We often are quick to jump into a romantic relationship without healing from the last one first. Tiffany shares some of the warning signs to be on the lookout for that you may not be ready yet and also shares some positive signs that you are ready to move on to something new. Concise and thoughtfully written.
Williams-Jallow has a passion for creating strong, healthy and lasting relationships, and this passion is evident in this book. She writes in a clear, convincing style, and her advice is practical and useful for all people who need guidance on improving their relationships. She distills centuries of tried and true relationship wisdom into simple, easy to understand tips and tools that help the reader get the most of out his relationships. Some of the insights she has come from discussions with guests on her talk radio program, Relationship360, which I also recommend. She delves into spiritual, cultural and familial dynamics that play important roles in our relationship IQ. Highly recommended.
I guess I should have realized this was just a "guide", like the title says. There wasn't much depth to the ideas presented, but they did point out some key points that I would like to look into in some other literature. The format of the book was unorganized and there were times when it was hard to read/understand the message the author was trying to convey.
Relationship Roadmap: The Guide to getting The relationship You Want is a must read read for anyone serious about getting into a meaningful relationship. The author Tiffany Jallow's recommendations are practical and can help you with future relationships.
If you've been single for any length of time, you know that many books have been written to help singles navigate the waters of relationships. The Relationship Roadmap is just that: an accurate road map of what to consider BEFORE entering into a committed relationship. It's helping me as I think through my own past relationships and as I look to the future.
I read this book shortly after a horrible break up. Because I was hurting, my inclination was to jump into another relationship for instant comfort, but the section on avoiding rebound relationships stopped me from dragging my baggage into a new relationship and sabotaging it with my unresolved issues. I got counseling and engaged in activities I love and within several months ran into my perfect match while working out at the gym. Now we're getting married and we both made sure we answered the book's 15 Questions You Should Ask Yourself Before Getting Into a Long Term Relationship before getting serious. Most of our answers were similar and the ones we differed on, we sorted out. I'm really glad I bought this book. It's a quick read and way more valuable than its price! Kudos to the Relationships360 Marketing Group for publishing Relationship Roadmap: The Guide To Getting The Relationship You Want. I look forward to the next book.
