Why wouldn't you want to be more flexible?

After turning 40 last year, it seems to be increasingly difficult to get out of bed in the morning. After getting involved in a fitness regimen that includes rounding out your whole physicality, stretching is a logical addition. Who would have thought that your flexibility doesn't have to get worse as you get older, but you can actually become more flexible than you were when you were younger.

Pavel lays it out in his humourous 'Russian' style. Very simple stretches that we all should be doing on a regular basis. I haven't gotten myself into a split yet, but I have improved my flexibility in leaps and bounds by using his principles in this book. Even at 6'5", 270# and 40 years old. I am in better shape now than I was when I played college ball.

Ok, enough of the pros, now the cons. I'm not sure I would buy this book at its original price of $35 US. It is more of a simple how-to manual. It was on sale when I got it, and worth what I paid. Also pairs well with his super joints book, although 1/3 of the information is the same in both.

I would still higly recommend this to the person that is fanatical about growing old, but not having to feel like you are growing old.
