Pain is my addiction and tattoos are my art.

In the Jericho Brotherhood MC, I'm the man to get the job done. That's why they call me Rock.

From the first dance, I knew Avery Winston wasn't a fast f*ck. One taste will never be enough when it comes to her. I crave her sweet skin and sassy mouth.

I screwed up and she sent me packing. With my second chance, I'll do anything to keep her by my side.

But that ain't easy. She doesn't trust my MC, and they are my life. And there's too much happening right now to show her what being an old lady means. Brothers fighting and escalating violence has me on the edge.

Then Avery's family situation turns crazy. When chaos breaks out from all sides, I don't know if I can protect the one I love.

Love the Series. I was super excited that I got this copy through NetGalley in exchange for a review, since I was a fan since the first book. Its not really necessary that you are familiar with Book 1 of the series, but I think you would enjoy it more if you had. You want to know who all the players are and how it all began. I like the characters and the storyline and as before the erotic romance takes center stage and you get to peek behind the MC curtain a little bit. I had a hard time putting down the book and read way passed my bedtime again, can't wait to find out who the next book will be about. Hope that there will be many more books in the series.

This was a very good read and I'm glad I found another series to feed my sudden MC addiction! This is the second in the series but I haven't read the first one - yet - and had no problem following along. The characters are well developed and the story moves along at a great pace. There are times, especially in the beginning, that Avery was a little immature and somewhat annoying but she eventually grew on me. Loved Rock all the way through. Even though Rock knows Avery doesn't want anything to do with his MC he doesn't give up on her. You have to love that in a man. He shows her a side of him she didn't know about and all her defenses seem to melt away. You want to read Avery and Rock's story. I highly recommend it.

I love the Jericho Brotherhood MC men with their wild ways and the women they bring into the MC. It’s now Rock’s turn and he has an addiction…no, not drugs but pain. Growing up the way he did it is no wonder that he gets turned on by pain and has to use one of the MC’s businesses, Bound, in order to feel true release. Avery and Rock had history but that history became tainted with what Rock and the Brotherhood had done to her best friend Lila. Rock would do anything to get with Avery again but she thinks she can fight off the feelings that she has for Rock…until she can’t any longer. Avery is a business woman in a small town who don’t like the bikers but she is a free spirit who loves to make those around her laugh and feel good. She doesn’t understand the town peoples’ feelings for the bikers and she’s witnessed firsthand how her friends, included, ostracize the bikers and anyone involved with them. This doesn’t stop this feisty woman and if it means losing her friends she’s had since school, then they weren’t worth having as friends. Avery, like Rock, had not had a great childhood and even with Avery opening and running a successful clothing business in town, she cannot get her father’s approval. Avery has worked hard for her business and it means the world to her. She’s tired of being dominated by men which her father had seated deep within her. That’s her big issues with the MC; she will not be dominated by a man ever again. It takes a bit for Rock to show her that is not what he wants but that does not mean that he will leave the Brotherhood or their ways. He does everything in his power to show her he can be trusted to look out for her best interests even if he is a table member of the MC and women have a place in the MC lifestyle. With all of this said big things are happening internally with the MC and things aren’t safe for anyone so how is Rock going to keep Avery safe from everyone outside and now even inside the club that she doesn’t trust? Will Avery be willing to put her business and her personal freedom in jeopardy to hook up with her hot biker or will this all be too much for the strong, independent woman she has become? Even though Rock and Avery have extremely wild times in bed will Avery be able to take on her sexy biker’s kinks when it comes right down to it or will she then realize that someone with these issues will leave her with nothing but pain in the end? I definitely recommend this hot biker read along with the first book in this series, Enough and I can’t wait for the next one to come out. This is a great read for any biker fans.

My Thoughts We find more to like about Rock this time around, he still has issues but with Avery’s help he learns to embrace what he cannot change and even finds that with her he finds a peace inside that he thought would never be reached. Avery must face her own fears, she also has to overcome her aversion to the MC so she and Rock have a real chance at staying together this time and most importantly of all she has to get past her parents virulent disapproval of their relationship without falling apart. The first book in the series was an eye-opener but this book beat it in intensity as well as shared more about The Brotherhood’s inner workings. The violence that accompanies those that belong to the MC is still present, with an added element that finally may pave the way for it’s members to finally have an understanding with the townspeople who have shunned them for many years. Avery and Rock’s second time around is hot and heavy, it also has some moments of angst that almost tear them apart permanently before they get it right. Dark, twisted, kinky and also fun – this is the story of Rock Juarez and Avery Winston. Rock is a tattoo artist at Marked Man and a member of the Jericho Brotherhood. Avery owns the shop, Black Label. They were together for a bit then broke up but have been missing one another for the two months they have been apart. The question is whether or not they can find a way to be together again that will work for both of them. Are Avery’s beliefs about the motorcycle club and what it would mean to be part of it true or erroneous and can she be with Rock as she desires to be without losing herself? As Rock and Avery spend time together, learn more about one another, begin to grow as individuals and as a couple, deal with family and others they eventually do find a way to move forward that works for the two of them. What will happen to the Jericho Motorcycle Club is still to be learned in future books of the series AND I am wondering if Marr, the Domme, might just end up with one of the biker brotherhood. It will be fun finding out who has their story told next when the book #3 is released. Thank you to NetGalley and Carina Press for the copy of this book. This is my honest review.

I personally did not like this story as well as the first one. Rock also likes pain, and the author covered that in some detail...this maybe a trigger for some people. Not sure I will buy any more books in this series
