Overview

The "Human Rights Concerts" is the collective name of a series of four concerts presented by the human rights organization Amnesty International between the years 1986 and 1998. This two-disc set collects 30 highlights from the four concerts, held in Giants Stadium in New Jersey (June 15, 1986), River Plate Stadium in Buenos Aires (October 15, 1988), National Stadium in Santiago, Chile (October 13, 1990), and the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy in Paris, France (December 10, 1998), and features passionate performances by Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez, Jackson Browne, Peter Gabriel , Lou Reed, and many others. ~ Steve Leggett
