Kate has been through more than her fair share of tragedies in her life. After suffering the loss of her mother, daughter, and the love of her life, she's finally found the strength to open herself up to love again. For once, everything is finally as it should be. Kate should've known that things were too good to be true; her life doesn't work that smoothly.

It's been four years since Michael left Kate, but he's back now, and determined to win Kate's heart once again. After discovering that Daniel and Michael are best friends, the situation spirals out of control quickly. Instead of dealing with her broken heart, Kate ignores it.

When Kate's actions drive her to do the unthinkable, she knows she's crossed the line. Unfortunately, she doesn't realize it until it's too little, too late. Her actions have consequences and now she's trying to fix the unfixable. Can the men in Kate's life grant her the forgiveness she can't even find within herself?

I'm a wife, a mom and a dog lover. I'm also a taxi, problem fixer, extreme multi-tasker and my kids biggest fan in anything that they do. I love to write, so when my career suddenly derailed I turned back to my love of writing. I married my high school sweetheart... how cool is that? Margaritas and sarcasm make me happy. Chocolate makes that happiness grow exponentially. People who make me laugh are my favorite kind of people. I believe Karma is a bitch who slaps back hard and that mean people suck. I'm California born and raised, I love the beach but hate the sand. The Acceptance Series is my first series of books with more to come soon.

I still can't put into words what this book had done to my heart. Thank you D Kelly for allowing me to read this book. You took me on such an emotional roller coaster that 5 hours later, I still can't get it out of my head. I can't open a new book and don't know when I'll be able to either. What you put my team through is heart wrenching and I hope you can redeem yourself in Loving Kate(LOL).

Way too amazing for words I'm going to try to keep this spoiler free but this review is really for the 3 titles in the series to date. Dee did an amazing job when she wrote this story. I actually managed to read Breaking Kate, Catching Kate, and Releasing Kate in the span of 48 hours. It drew me in from the beginning and if time and life had allowed I would have read all 3 in one day. This series is mind-blowing and heart-wrenching. I absolutely love Kate and from the beginning I was #TeamDaniel. Normally I don't do love triangles because I tend to find the flip-flopping between emotions to be unrealistic and just irritating. This was not the case in this series. I honestly felt as if I was a part of this family of friends and witnessing it all first hand. They all became a part of me in such a short time. One thing that totally caught me off guard was Marc.. I totally didn't expect to see that, nor did I ever imagine the reason Mike disliked him so much would be what it was. This story will keep you guessing, especially Releasing Kate. The flow of POV with the chapters is perfect and I was easily able to follow the timeline without wondering what in the world was doing on. There were points where I was questioning my conclusions and then the ending came and I was shocked!  Looking forward to March when I can read the conclusion with Loving Kate. Truly wish I could give more than 5 stars because it was simply that amazing.

I have been #TeamDaniel all the way, but after I read this book I really didn't not know what team I wanted to be on #Team Daniel or #TeamKate. With a baby on the way Kate is so confused but deep down she knows who she wants and she can't have him until she knows who the father is. She is so torn on doing the right thing, but the heart wants what it wants. She has done something that nobody ever thought she would do and in the end it hurt everybody around her. What will happen when they find out who the father is, will Kate be able to leave her guard down or will she run the other way? Now we have to wait for the next installment to find out what happens...D. Kelly this book is your best book yet.

Loving two men can cause so much chaos in one's life. But what does Kate do? Who does she choose? The emotional ride that you will go on is unbelievable! I suggest you read Breaking Kate and Catching Kate first before moving on to Releasing Kate. It seems to follow right in to one another! *Received for an honest review*

Releasing Kate is the next installment in the Acceptance Series. You will need to read Breaking Kate first and if you want to hear Mike's POV read Catching Kate. After the sudden appearance of Mike at Jake & April's engagement party, Kate & Daniel's HEA is rocked to the core. Releasing Kate takes you on an emotional journey that will make your feel so many different emotions. You will cry, you will get angry, and you will want to shake Kate and say snap out of it :) D. Kelly writes a story that shows you how life events can make a person go out of their norm and do things they normally would never do. No matter if you are #TeamDaniel or #TeamMike you will cry and feel for both men. But this reader is sill and always will be #TeamDaniel :) Kate and Mike have history together. If not for the tragic death of Mike's dad and events that spiraled out of control along with a message that was never delivered, they would have had their own HEA. Kate has survived the loss of her mother, Mike and her baby girl. When she meets Daniel and allows herself to fall in love again, it is totally fast, hot, heavy and explosive. They too are on their way to what they think will be their HEA. When Kate finds out that Mike & Daniel are best friends she makes the decision that she will not be the person to tear their close friendship apart. She decides that the three of them can only be friends. Kate also has to tell Mike about the baby girl he never knew he had. After making the decision to just be friends with Mike & Daniel, Kate starts to spiral out of control and after a lifetime of being the good girl she decides to explore her wild side. One fateful night Kate makes a huge mistake. One she can't ever get back. One that she will have to pay the consequence for. One man will forgive her for her mistake the other will not. Also Vanessa is pregnant. Who will be the baby's daddy, Mike or Daniel????? Oh the drama in this book is major!!!!! In the end who will Kate choose. Her first love Mike or her true love Daniel. And will the one that she chooses be the one that can forgive her for her one night of carelessness.   C. Baker - CJ's Book Corner

Forever and Always Team Daniel I had to wait a week to write this review to try and recover from one of the worst book hangover I have ever had.  I Love Love this series. It is an absolute emotional roller-coaster and you love every minute of it. Dee Kelly writes characters that you love and want to know more and more about. So we have been waiting to see what happens with the Daniel, Kate and Mike triangle....I have been #TeamDaniel since the moment he opened his mouth in Breaking Kate. This book made me so mad at him and then turn around and want to hug him. They are all hurting in this book and trying to do whats right and most of the time they end up just hurting themselves and everyone around them. This is one of the best love triangles I have ever read. Thank you Dee for making us fall in love with Daniel, Kate, and Mike and feeling passionately about what will happen next

I love, love, love this book! Its been a very long time since I simply couldn't put down a book but this whole series has been that way. I just had to know what would happen next. One of my favorite things is Kate. She os a strong woman with wonderful friends and a clear sense of what she wants from life. Not the typical damsel in distress who needs a man to save the day. Those are very tiring wome . I'm waiting anxiously for the finale!

Very emotional!  I have been anticipating this sequel to the cliffhanger that was Breaking Kate.  Who will Kate choose? Who is the father of Vanessa's baby? How will Daniel and Mike fight for Kate's heart? I have lots of questions in my mind and everything has been answered in Releasing Kate. I am beyond broken. D. Kelly has surely put out her emotional guns in this book and everything had gutted me. I loved every single character in this book. From the leads Kate, Daniel and Mike to their friends. I am Team Daniel and every single chapter where he talked had punched my heart. However, I could not imagine that during Mike's last chapters, he twisted the knife in my heart as well.  Also, I had a breaking point in this book. Kate's "drunk" outburst. I was just so proud of her "drunk" bravery and honesty. I felt her raw vulnerability and how hard everything has been for her. Although she jumps from one guy to another during the course of the book, D. Kelly had made sure that the readers would understand her because I did.  I feel very connected with these characters and with the ARC's ending, I am exploding with more questions, emotions and tears.  This series is highly recommended. Though implied, you will feel who Kate chose. Vanessa's baby's father is also revealed and you will love the love that Daniel and Mike has shown Kate all throughout. D. Kelly has not wasted any single page of this book.
