About the Author

Born in the Pacific Northwest, Kameron M. Franklin has been back and forth across the United States several times over the course of moves and vacations. During one of those trips, his father bought him his first comic book: a Superman and Plastic-man team-up. It was Kameron’s first step into the world of the fantastic, and he hasn’t looked back since.

In 2005, his first novel, Maiden of Pain, was published by Wizards of the Coast as part of their Forgotten Realms line. He has since had two short stories published and is working on his second novel while finishing grad school.
