Meet the Author

J.S. Wilsoncroft was born and raised in the small town of Curwensville, Pennsylvania. Her mother and father taught her to be strong and never give up on her dreams, even though as a teenager she wasn't sure what those dreams were. It wasn't until she was older that she decided she wanted some kind of job working with animals. So, at the age of 23, she got her dog grooming license and has been grooming puppies ever since. It wasn't until five years ago that she started writing. She woke up one morning with this story on her mind and as the day grew on, so did the story. She finally decided to sit down at her computer and started typing. That's when her first book, "Roller Coaster Love" was born. After that, writing stories came to her as easy as grooming dogs. Now, Wilsoncroft has her hands full being a wife, mother of two children, and three yappy dogs, full-time dog groomer, and as a part time writer.

Heartwarming story of love, friendship and overcoming grief.

This was a wonderfully, well-written story about love. In Remembering Zane, Bonnie had to weigh her options in love; either forget the love of her past in the past, or move on with his best friend, who is very much alive, sexy, and sweet. To me, it's a no-brainer, but for Bonnie, she needs a little push. Luckily for us, she gets that. I loved this little book; it packed a punch in a big way. Looking forward to more from this author.

    Wonderful love story!

This is a lovely novella about two High School friends that reconnect many years later under tragic circumstances. This was a really emotionally charged story, one that made me want to cry for sadness, and then for joy as the two friends discover the path to love is sometimes widing.
The characters were very developed, the writing flowed very well, and I absolutely love the cover art. A tear-jerker with a touching ending, five stars!

    A Journey Worth Taking

In "Remembering Zane," J.S. Wilsoncroft does a fabulous job depicting the difficult process of love, loss, letting go, and allowing one's self to love again. Wilsoncroft takes the reader on an emotional journey ranging from grief to joy and every emotion between when Bonnie loses the unattainable Zane, and Jon, her best friend, helps her to pick up the pieces and move on. This story rings true to life to anyone who has ever lost a love, accurately depicting the difficult process of making the hard decision to move on. It's not easy and Wilsoncroft depicts this with sensitivity, flare, and finesse, creating a journey worth taking. Don't miss the ride. I give it 5 stars.

    more from this reviewer

I knew the moment I saw the summary to this book I just had to r

I knew the moment I saw the summary to this book I just had to read it. I didn't realize it was a short story however. But I was still very happy with all that happened in the book.
With most short stories it’s hard for me to get a good feel on characters because of the lack of time authors can devote on them. And that’s one reason I am not a huge fan of them. But with Remembering Zane I felt the author gave them just enough for us to know who they are, giving them a more developed feel than most story stories.
The storyline was great; I just loved the idea that even though she lost the love of her life, or so she thought, there was someone there who had loved her all along. The only thing I found wrong with the story was, wait for it....it was a short story. Gosh, would have loved for it to have been longer!!!
I talked to the author the other night and she is getting ready to publish her next book, The Unfaithful Widow. And I am very excited about this due to loving Remembering Zane!

    Good read but short

I feel that this had the makings of a great book with only a little more story development.

    Amazing Book!!!!

I was absolutely loved this book! I couldnt put it down!! There was so much emotion in this book, i actually cried! I mean to loose someone you love died what would you do? Espically if it was someone you loved since you were 10 years old! Wilsoncroft knows how to write a great book! I cried when something sad happened and I laughed when there was good parts.
Bonnie loved a boy name Zane since she was only 10years old, they dated for awhile then broke up. Bonnie was the kind of girl that knew who she would end up with in her love life and that was Zane. Just when you thought that the book would have a happy ending Zane dies, but when Zane's best friend Jonathon comes into the picture new feelings start to stir up espically for Jonathon who has loved Bonnie since they were in high school. You start to wonder if Bonnie be able to love again, that is if Jonathon can tell her how he has felt for so long.

This book like I said took me through a roller coaster of emotion, it was really good! I have to admit that I dont normally read books that arent paranormal, but in this case I will make an exception! If you were looking to take a break from paranormal trust me you should read this one! I give it 5 out of 5 stars!

    Great romantic novella!

This was a great novella about love after tragedy. I couldn’t put it down. High school friends are brought back together by a death that changes the course of their lives forever. This was a very emotional read on many levels. It was greatly written and flowed extremely well. I found myself wanting to read more about their high school days as well as their future life. It is a great story of finding love through obstacles of life and has a very touching ending. This was a great romantic read. I can’t wait to read more from J.S. Wilsoncroft. I would defiantly recommend it and give it 4.5 out of 5 stars.
