Very Helpful! I have gone back to it many times!

I found this book to be very helpful. Suzanne Thomas explains how to buy homes & rent them out (for positive cash flow) in very simple, down-to-earth terms. The book is very in-depth. She also covers overcoming the fear of dealing with tenants, which was very important to me as a 1st time landlord. I credit this book for helping me to buy & rent out my 1st single family home. If you're strictly interested in buying & renting single family homes, this is the book for you.

Want to Invest? Buy this Book!

I love this book! I understand everything so clearly. Easy to read and very useful information. I am starting my investment venture this year and I am so glad I read this book to get started. I have read many books but many are complicated and intimidating. I recommend this book for beginners like me.

    Good overview

This book contains good advice for the starter investor. I'm not convinced that single family homes are the absolute best investment as presented here. Furthermore, I'm not sure some of the expectations Ms. Thomas holds her tenants to are realistic. However, overall the advice and real life experiences contained could be useful for those looking to get into real estate.

    Worth the time

This author has done an excellent job discussing the pluses and minuses of owning your own property in plain english. She pointed out things that I couldn't even have imagined tenant's are capable of doing and pointed out ways to address them with the tenant in the lease. If you are a first time landlord, it's definitely worth the time to read this book.

    Insperational and Informative

No get rich schemes or vague theories here, as in so many of the books I've read on real estate investing. Simply down to earth facts on buying, owning, and renting single family homes as a means of achieving financial freedom. Suzanne Thomas has exstensive experience in the field of real estate, but more importantly she has realized her dream. A dream of owning five houses and being able to semi retire at an early age in order to persue other dreams. This she has done by setting personal goals and following through on them. Presently I own one rental property but have been unclear about my goals until reading this book. Now I'm making plans to aquire more property. If your an individual who, like me, chases the elusive dream of finacial independance,RENTAL HOUSES,could be your ticket.
