Requiem, the second installment in the Providence series, is even better than it's predecessor, Providence. Jamie's dedication to research and meticulous attention to detail continue to make her and her books must reads. Requiem picks right up where Providence left off: the mythical worlds of heaven and hell quickly begin to merge with our reality as Nina searches for clues to the secrets her father kept, and the real consequences of her bond with Jared. I fell in love with the characters all ov

The book contains a number of misspellings and nonsensical sentences. The sloppiness made it difficult to read at times. However, I enjoyed the story a lot. It's a fast read and has a very thoughtful storyline. Requiem is a beautiful transition from the first in the series and it looks like the third installment is much the same. I find the seconardy characters more interesting than the main (Nina can be rather annoying). I'm glad the author chose to develop them as much as she did. I recommend this novel in spite of poor editing. If you can get past all the errors you'll find a great read.

Another great read. I am not one to read Paranormal books but being the huge Jamie McGuire fan that I am, I had to read this series. Needless to say that I am really enjoying it! Can't wait to get started on Eden!

I loved Requiem! It had me at the edge of my seat, and I couldn't put it down! Claire is my favorite character of the series, and she holds a special place in my heart. Nina had me going back and forth. There were moments I just wanted to slap her. But overall, it's an awesome extension of the story, and a definite must-read for anyone who calls themself a fan of Jamie McGuire!

The first book was pretty good and this one started out ok but halfway through it got a bit confusing and I just lost interest. I no longer cared what happened and didn't even finish it. I will not be reading the 3rd book in the series. That being said, I loved Beautiful Disaster and would highly recommend that book.

This series was awesome.I love the characters and their personalities. Just when you think that you know what is going to happen, the book takes another turn.I was a little disapointed at the end bc I assumed that Nina would be more powerful and kick some butt, but it was still good. Jamie Mcguire is an excellent writer. If you like this series you should also read Beautiful Disaster, but be sure to read both sides of the book because the ending changes and doesn’t leave you hanging!!! I cant wait to read more from her.
