The book contains a number of misspellings and nonsensical sentences. The sloppiness made it difficult to read at times. However, I enjoyed the story a lot. It's a fast read and has a very thoughtful storyline. Requiem is a beautiful transition from the first in the series and it looks like the third installment is much the same. I find the seconardy characters more interesting than the main (Nina can be rather annoying). I'm glad the author chose to develop them as much as she did. I recommend this novel in spite of poor editing. If you can get past all the errors you'll find a great read.

The first book was pretty good and this one started out ok but halfway through it got a bit confusing and I just lost interest. I no longer cared what happened and didn't even finish it. I will not be reading the 3rd book in the series. That being said, I loved Beautiful Disaster and would highly recommend that book. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. This series was awesome.I love the characters and their personalities. Just when you think that you know what is going to happen, the book takes another turn.I was a little disapointed at the end bc I assumed that Nina would be more powerful and kick some butt, but it was still good. Jamie Mcguire is an excellent writer. If you like this series you should also read Beautiful Disaster, but be sure to read both sides of the book because the ending changes and doesn’t leave you hanging!!! I cant wait to read more from her.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

This is a perfect second installment of the Providence series!! Requiem was just as wonderful to read as Providence, which is saying a lot!!! The romance between Jared and Nina is just as heart-warming as it was in the first book, and it will by almost no means dissapoint you. You discover a lot in this book that wasn'r even hinted at in Providence, which did surprise me. I found the ending shocking, but you can't expect any less from Jamie McGuire!!! Love this book!!!Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.

I don't understand why the writer wouldn't look over her book at least once before putting it out there for everyone to read. The story was exciting but not only were their countless grammatical errors but some of the sentences were even messed up and didn't make sense. I was annoyed that I payed for something that hadn't even been proof read! But with that being said, the story itself was exciting and kept me reading. I am not sure if I want to buy the third book or not. I am afraid it is going to be super sloppy!

What can I say about Requiem that would do it justice....... HOLY NEPHILIM!!!!!!!!!! Jamie you are incredible!
Requiem picks up right where Providence left off. Nina and Jared have survived the worse. Nina is healed from the shot out she was in and Jared is more protective of her. Nina is still reeling over the information she has learned about her father. Now she is caught up in a cat and mouse game with demons who want the book her father stole.
Jared will do anything to keep Nina safe from the demons so he keeps his eyes on her. She lives her normal life but after school she stays with him. Only Nina needs answers and so she goes in search of them and what she finds is not what she expected. Jared is very worried about Nina because she is now exposed to his world and sometimes the people in his world can be worse then the demons.
And if life was not hard enough as is Nina has to deal with Ryan's romantic advances. She loves him but just as a friend and nothing more. He makes it unbearable sometimes because he has made it quite clear he loves her and he is not going down without a fight. The only thing is he underestimated Jared's love for Nina.
What will Nina do when she is faced with the truth? Will she run to Jared or will she chose the safe road of Ryan? Come along for the ride of a lifetime with Nina and Jared and the gang. This is a must read series that will knock you off your feet!
