very informative and user-friendly, if not more of a basic cours

very informative and user-friendly, if not more of a basic course manual for research methods.  However, it is never far from my go-to source of books for quick references on a project.  The authors manage to write the text in everyday prose so even a novice can grab the concepts with enough practice.

A few of my classmates and I are struggling with this text used in our graduate quantitative research course. We are often looking to other sources to get clarity.

    So helpful.

This was the major textbook for a graduate-level research methods class, and it was so helpful. The class moved quickly, and so the relatively compact chapters were extremely helpful. The authors packed a lot of information into the book, but did a pretty good job explaining things.
