About the Author

Qiong Dang is Associate Professor, School of Journalism and Communication, Guangxi University, Nanning, China. She obtained Ph.D. in cultural studies, Department of Communication Science, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Brussel, Belgium. Her research field is new media studies, international communcation. She has led more than 7 national and provincial-level projects, published over 20 research papers, and authored 2 Chinese monographs and 1 English monograph.She has translated one Chinese monograph into English.
