I have read every book in the series, and this one is by far the best. Non-stop action, And twist that you never saw coming. Not to mention how scary it was. this is a must have for anyone who loves zombie stories.

i thought that city of the dead was the best installment in the series of resident evil. Perry did a great job writing about the city under seige by the zombies. The book was enjoyable because it kept me wanting to read more and more. This is a great read for anyone that loves the resident evil series.

With the third installment of S. D. Perry's 'Resident Evil' series it comes as no surprise the the corrupt Umbrella Corporation is churning out all sorts of sick surprises. G-Virus, Tyrants and Chestbursters (a not so subtle reference to the 'Aliens' line of books Perry previously penned) are among the offerings in this outing. A bit more innovative than the two previous entries, it moves smoothly with each chapter carrying the reader's interest along with an even flow from page to page. This novel proves an easy transition to Perry's next 'RE' novel entitled 'Underworld'.

With the third installment of Perry's 'Resident Evil' it comes as no surprise that the corrupt Umbrella Corporation is still churning out all sorts of sick surprises. G-viruses, Tyrants, and Chestbursters (a not so subtle reference to Perry's series of 'Aliens' books) is part of the fare in this outing. Quite a bit more innovative than the two previous entries in these volumes, 'City of the Dead' moves smoothly from page to page and chapter to chapter and is quick to capture the interest of those reading it. As it is, this proves a graceful transition to the next 'RE' offering 'Underworld'.

Tip:stories for each character change by the chapter:3 i give it 5stars for five reasons:leon ,action, story line, zombies ,and drama

Besides RE Code Veronica, this was one of the best books in the series, and one ofthe best books of all time. Falling second only to RE Code Veronica.

how would you feel to be in a city filled with Zombies and a corperation that was making mutated creatures with a virus that could potentualy change man kind as we know it. Rookie Leon Kennedy and Clair Redfield join up in a town that is infested with zombies and crazy people to stop umbrella of its evil creation.A special force has been sent in to take the virus from umbrella but a creation that has been in proces for a while called the Tyrant has decided to come out of his test tube to take revenge on umbrella and all you come in his way of stoping him. this book could make you feel that the super natural exist and the virus in the story, and will leave you wanting to turn the page to find out what will happen next. This is a great book and i would recommend this book to all of my friends and all who like these kids of books.

Even though this book is long, it is also the best! Wen I was reading it, I could almost think that there were zombies outside my apartment. The characters were great especially Claire and Leon. The story is almost the same as the game. S.D. Perry made this book thrilling and exciting! If u havet read ne of the RE books u should start from the 1st one coz u won't understand the story. Hope u'll like the book!

I absolutly adored this book. The way the author brought out the details of the characters was truely amazing. Getting the deeper insite into the characters like Chief Irons and Annette was really cool. I would recommened this for anyone who liked the game!!!

An intriguing and involved plot, swirling around a handful of characters, all fo which youg row to love, and to top it off a city full of Zombies and other freaks of nature; twisted into existence by the sinister umbrella corporation. A simple outline...and I mean simple. I have read all of the directly game related Resident Evil books that Perry has written (i.e. Umbrella Conspiracy, City of the Dead, Nemesis) with the exception of Code Veronica. I have played all the games..and yes, I own the movie. I am a huge fan of RE, being such I went into reading the RE books (specifically the first one) very cautiously, I didn't want a mindless rape of my beloved franchise (kind of like what the movie almost did), but I came out feeling refreshed and very content. Although I would have prefered a book that followed the events in REmake, but I can't count that against Perry, REmake wasn't out when she wrote conspiracy. Perry has done an amazing job, doing the exact amount of justice to Resident Evil. any fan can be proud of these books. Likewise, every serious fan should at least read them, me personally, I own them. Perry, two thumbs way up, and please.....do us all a favor, and write a REAL screenplay based on REmake...that would be heaven.
