Meet the Author

SUE WILLIAMSON is a practicing artist based in Cape Town. Trained as a printmaker, she also works with installation, constructed objects, photographic images and video. Her work generally addresses social issues or aspects of contemporary history. She frequently exhibits at international exhibitions and biennales, and is represented in most South African and some international museum collections.

Williamson also writes and lectures about art. She is the founding editor of a website on contemporary art in South Africa, artthrob.co.za
