A rogue human resources employee battles an organizational chart of lunacy allied with annoying recruiting vendors and bottles of cognac, in pursuit of an escape from the maze of cubicles and the prison of the heart on a quest to kill the liver. What lies behind the scenes of CEOs pleading the fifth at congressional hearings is the front line of regular business days at a NASDAQ 100 company in the tumultuous trading year of 2000. A search for the one resource employed humans need, twisted acts of romance, business class flights, drug induced happiness, self-loathing, hangovers and conference calls while stuck in the hive of the Telecom Corridor at the turn of the century.
