I picked up this Missouri Ozarks cookbook at the Barnes & Noble in Springfield. After taking it home and looking through it, I went back and bought another for my mother who loves the Ozarks and she loves to try new recipes. I also enjoy the articles on each restaurant, it gives you a bit of info in case you'd like to visit and let them prepare the food!

I have a copy of this book and absolutely love it. The recipes are fun and full of history from the Ozarks. I can't wait until the other books in the series come out!!

This is an exciting book for several reasons. It has really great recipes to try and they are from existing restaurants in the Ozarks. Also, it is a beautiful book with great pictures of Ozark scenes and appetizing foods. Plus, it is easy to use as well. When you want a dish fast you can find it in the table of contents in the front or by restaurant in the index in the back. This is a great addition to the 'Restaurant Recipes of Kansas City' that came out last year. They make great gifts and I look forward to other editions in the future from this great publisher.
