About the Author

Bolami Babafemi hails from Lagos, Nigeria, and currently practices law in the dynamic Washington, DC metropolitan area. She obtained an LLB from the prestigious University of Lagos and a Bachelor of Law from the Nigerian Law school, she is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, a member in good standing of the Maryland and New York State Bar. An esteemed member of the Nigerian American Law Association (NALA), she places great importance on faith, family, and hard work.
Beyond her legal endeavors, Bola treasures moments spent with her family and actively engages in community service within her place of worship, and at The John 3:16 Foundation, a Non-governmental Organization catering for the needs of the homeless in the DMV area. Recognizing the multifaceted challenges of balancing family life with professional aspirations, especially as a devoted mother, she appreciates the significance of being well-equipped for the journey. In her belief that there are no limits to one's potential, Bola has authored a compelling book. Within its pages, she generously shares valuable insights and tools aimed at making a positive difference in the lives of her readers.
This new work aims to empower individuals, especially women and young adults who have been displaced or those currently going through difficult times of their lives, with the tools necessary to confidently embark on the next chapter of their lives. In the spirit of restoration, her period of distress not only gave rise to her book but also led to the creation of Restore – The Foundation Inc. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to assisting families and children that have undergone the unfortunate path of a divorce, separation, or loss of a spouse or partner. The launch of this organization will serve as the foundation for the release of Bolami's transformative book.
