About the Author

amer begic is a 19-year-old from Chicago, IL who took up writing poems to relieve his stress and anger. once he started sharing his poems with friends, as well as professors, he gained up the courage the write his own poetry book, inspired by those that paved the way for him to do so. the stories amer tells run through some very obvious themes as well as some not so obvious. he dives deep into his writing for himself but doesn't share the stories that led him to write what he did. he enjoys keeping the poetry just about the poetry and letting the readers choose what each poem means to them. he enjoys reading other poetry books as well whenever he gets the time between school and writing his own work.
