Overview

I wrote this book because too many people have died because they were afraid that HIV would kill them. I was inclined to fear the same thing, but my life experiences planted the seeds of hope. I hope that by sharing some of the things that have kept me alive, like a spiritual connection, changing habits, ongoing adventures, faith, hope, and love, others might find some benefit.
Somehow I want to do my part to help balance the universe by sharing some of the wonderful adventures I have experienced in this lifetime. I hope that you might read this book and feel something useful and motivating for the enrichment of YOUR life.
Practicing humility has contributed to my peace of mind and spirit. I really want people to know about these wonderful adventures that this Black man from the Southside of Jamaica Queens has experienced.

About the Author

Reggie Smith had dedicated his adult life to finding the cure for AIDS after being diagnosed himself when he was only 28 and nearly dying of the disease years later. He grew up in Jamaica, Queens, New York during the time when people called AIDS, ‘the Gay disease’ and there wasn’t any research done for medical improvements for the Black community that was disproportionately dying from AIDS. He considers his reincarnation as a gift from God, something that he and his wife Dionne cherish. Even though there are effective medications, his efforts at finding a cure for AIDS continue to this day.
