This is probably one of the best books I have ever read on sacraments. It clearly discusses the nature of the sacraments and what it means to be sacramental. As a graduate of a Catholic seminary, I can easily say that the theology of this book is right on the mark. I have used this book in teaching sacramental catechesis to youth, young adults, and people of all ages. Bill Huebsch uses a poetic style of writing which touches the emotions as well as the intellect. This is a must read for all Catholics, lay and ordained, who desire a more intimate knowledge of sacraments. It is also a must read for any Christian wanting to understand the theology and tradition of sacraments. It is a shame that this book is now difficult to find. I hope that the publishers decide to reprint a newer edition. Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
