Editorial Reviews

Library Journal - Library Journal
Based on information from retirement planning seminars for CBS employees, this book covers financial and health concerns and touches briefly on second careers, leisure, and choosing a place to live. The greatest emphasis is on finances; detailed work sheets help readers estimate future net worth, income, and expenses. The quality of the writing is uneven, perhaps because five people contributed to this book. More disturbing is some misinformation, e.g., Social Security benefit estimates are only available to those nearing retirement (anyone can get an estimate); one in eleven American women will die from breast cancer (should be develop); and CDs and NOW accounts are federally insured (some are, some aren't). Not recommended.-- Wendy Allex, Lee Cty. Lib. System, Ft. Myers, Fla.
