A Demon Trapper’s bonus story.
Before Riley Blackthorne can take on Grade Five demons, she has to trap her very first. Her debut solo trapping experience should be a breeze, just a harmless Grade One after all. But throw in some dippy hippies (whose peace signs and Patchouli really aren’t driving any demons away), one mischievous demon, and a run-in with the police, and Riley might not be able to pull it off...

As it says in the summary, this is a "bonus story," so it's not a full book. This short story was much better than I thought it would be. The main character is realistic and the concept of the book-- the daughter becoming a demon hunter-- is done in a new way. The author's style is descriptive enough to be enjoyable. Based on this short story, I have added the series to my wish list.

I really enjoyed this excerpt from the Demon Trappers series. Well written, characters are well defined. You can feel the tension as demons are caught!

I liked this story. It was only 12 pages long, but it was a cute - mini story of a girl's first solo demon capture. It was short, sweet, and to the point. The rest of the 32 pages was a teaser chapter; I didn't read said chapter. Certainly worth downloading. -Steph

This short story was okay, but the series was very good. If you just read the story you won't understand. So I recommend getting all the books.

Very short. I expected so much more as it builds a wonderful and complex world worthy of an epic coming of age then just abruptly ends right when its getting good...
Still worth the read.
