More About This Book

Overview

The tale of the Phantom of the Opera did not end in the labyrinth beneath a Paris theater. A wealth of secrets lay in the shadows of the convoluted tunnels. There the story continued to unfold...love and madness, a painful triumph over the damage of ridicule and cursed rejection. A determined soul, one capable of enduring a dark and unholy journey, managed to find its way back into the arms of the mate Destiny had ordained for it.

Imagine the woman discovering, almost too late, the identity of her true love, a man she'd let slip through her fingers. Would she not ignore pride and search out a way to get him back? Yes! Chrsistine Daae clawed a path to Etik, and he in turn mastered a demented part of himself in order to affect a degree of sanity and possess her. But were these two sets of glorious arms enough to hold a love spawned in hellish mystery?

Let us see, brave soul, let us see.

One of the Best Phantom Books I Have Read!

This is a fascinating twist on the Phantom story by a very talented writer. The most satisfying characterizations of Erik and Christine I have ever read! Madame Giry, Meg and the Persian are wonderfully supportive of our Erik - truly the loyal hearts of the title. If you love the Phantom, you will get your money's worth with this book. Unpredictable twists and turns and very sexy! Great reading!

WOW, THIS IS ONE HOT STORY

What a great novel. I just couldn't put it down. The ending is totally different from any other Phantom sequel that I've read. Erik actually wins in this one. There's everything from A to Z. That's action to the zenith of romance. If you're a Phantom of the Opera fan, this one is a must read. Who is Etienne de Mendes?

A Must For All Phantom Fans!!!

This is definitely the BEST Phantom spin-off I have ever read!! I've read it at least 8 times. I love how it shows Raoul to be the little spoiled, vicious brat he is, but shows the true romance between Christine and Erik (the Phantom). It does get a little too descriptive in the three of the love parts, but it is an amazing book. Trying to write a review without spoiling such a good book is so difficult.

If you're a "Phan," this will be your favourite Phantom book.

    Fluffy Phantom anyone?

On the spectrum of Phantom phiction, this book was not too terrible. Looking at it as compared to literature in general however, it is no wonder that this is an AuthorHouse (vanity) publication.

If you're looking for a typical fluffy romance, you've got your book. If you're looking for depth or accuracy, I suggest you look elsewhere. As for myself, I will be reading the second part of this intended-trilogy soon, not because I plan to enjoy it but because I am a devoted phan with a high pain tolerance.

________________________
Read the full review at:
http://valtinen.livejournal.com/2359.html
