New and Old Fans will love this!!

I cannot believe how well Jeff Rovin captured all the tragedy, pathos and depth of these characters. It was like finding a lost movie and captures all the flavor without seeming hokey or dated. As an old fan, I especially enjoyed how there were hidden 'treasures' throughout the book. If you know your Universal horror movies, you will find numerous mentions to movies that had previously stood alone, making all the horror movies through the 1950's a joint 'Universal' (pun definitely intended). Kudos to Mr. Rovin. Now.....where the heck is the sequel????

    Monster Mash Reunion!!!

If you like monsters, especially the ones portrayed by Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, and Lon Chaney Jr., you'll sink your fangs into this book and suck it dry because it's a juicy read. Although the title reads The Return of the Wolfman, the book actually features Dracula and the Frankenstein monster. It's one thrilling story which will hook you with its claws and pull you in. I'd also like to point something out, though. Many people who have read this book probably aren't aware that the book acts as a sequal to a certain movie which starred two of comedy's favorite duo: Abbot & Costello. The two made a film where they meet the Frankenstein monster, along with the wolfman and Dracula. It was a great movie, one I've seen at least fifty times. Anyway, this book begins where things left off in the movie. You'll finally get to learn what happened to the wolfman and Dracula as they plummeted from the balcony of the castle. So watch the movie and then read the book - you'll get the full story that way. Plus, you'll get a chance to see some old, creepy friends. Plus, there are some new characters to read about. My favorite scene in the book is when the author describes Dracula. His description of the undead prince is excellent. I can't wait to read the sequal to this haunting book. It should also be a howling good time!
