The murder occurred on the very day Lance was called up to the Major Leagues, further complicating the crime and befuddlng Crager, a man with his own personal demons. All of the characters in this book were completely unlikable andthe story was not that good...but most of all, the author wrote about baseball and some of his references were so far off one wonders if he knows anything about the subject. Can't wish this book on anyone.
