Nothing is as it seems even when you think you know someone. Deceptions are sometimes required for safety, and truth may be stretched to protect those that are loved. A great book to understand the natural human behaviors or trust, love, and respect. I loved the waiting for truth to emerge and was shocked to find at the last possible moment what the result would be. Well done Jim Frishkey.

I couldn't help but relate to the 60s era. The book starts out slowly and gives a reader time to know the characters. But soon everything changed to an action packed thriller. The story is unexpected and unpredictable. The author, James Frishkey is an excellent weaver of words! He does not disappoint. Well worth the read!
