    Dr Ellerby Exceeds All Expectations

Return to The Sacred may scare some people off by its name. Being a "Recovering Catholic", I have tended in the past to avoid books which struck me as having religious overtones. But one comes away from this book (which is both difficult to put down and can be meaningfully read starting almost anywhere in the text) with a feeling of connection with other people, animals, seemingly inanimate objects, the Universe and, most importantly, one's self. His style is easy yet poignant and rich and demonstrates that not only has he traveled the world sampling various cultures and spiritual/healing beliefs, but that he has been truly "present" and has immersed himself in everything he does. I have already given 5 copies as gifts and ordered 20 more today to enrich the lives of those close to me (and some NOT so close). If you have any interest in this sort of topic, this is a definite MUST READ.

You Won't Want to Miss This One!!

Return to the Sacred is a fascinating book with first person experiences. Mr. Ellerby describes the many different paths one can take which all lead to the same Source. His stories include his spiritual adventures with teachers and healers all over the world. Among the different paths described, there will be at least one that resonates with each reader.

I appreciate the way Mr. Ellerby describes his journeys with such an open heart. This book offers great insight into the world of spirit and the many paths that will lead to freedom, wisdom, and ultimately to Love.
