ABSOLUTELY DRAGO - LICIOUS !!! Wow! I love it! Jessie Donovan has once again demonstrated her incredible talent, amazing skill and astounding imagination in her latest release, Revealing the Dragons. Jessie has done a marvelous job of not only bridging this story with her two earlier series, Sacrificed to the Dragon and Seducing the Dragon but also using it as an exciting introduction to her upcoming series, Healing the Dragon. Every time I read one of The Stonefire Dragons stories, it feels like coming home to visit all my family and friends. Jessie's stories always leaves me with tears in my eyes, a smile on my face and warmth in my heart. The story is exciting, well developed, thrilling, compelling, riveting, imaginative, original, heartwarming, romantic and sensual. The dialog is smart, sassy, intelligent, very well written and flows effortlessly. The characters are fascinating, captivating, endearing, enticing, intriguing and sexy as sin. Jessie expertly combines these elements to give her readers a magical experience and a very entertaining read. The day has arrived for the release of Melanie Hall-MacLeod's controversial new book, Revealing the Dragons and trouble is on the horizon. Melanie is hoping that her book will gain support for the dragons. If successful, it will enable her to see her family and ensure that her two dragon-shifter children will be safe and protected from enemies that seek to destroy the dragons. It's just a book - surely no would would try to kill her over something as simple as a book. Right? Wrong!  Unfortunately, the release doesn't go smoothly. An attempt is made on Mel's life, an attack is launched on the Department of Dragon Affairs and an age old enemy is reborn. And of course all of our beloved characters from the two previous series are there to offer their help and support including her dragon mate and husband, Tristan MacLeod. Of all the characters to date, Tristan is my favorite dragon-shifter. At his best, Tristan can be arrogant, prideful, egotistical and down right rude and at his worse, a ferocious dragon but to his mate, Mel, a kind loving husband and father and he loves his mate and his children more than life itself and will do anything to protect them. The interaction between this couple is entertaining and magical and at times, down right hilarious! I love it! I don't think I'll ever tire of reading about Tristan and Mel. I hope we see a lot more of them in the future. And their twins, Jack and Annabel, deserve their own individual series. But wouldn't ya'll just love to see Annabel and baby Murray get together in the future? It's just a suggestion! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read! I can hardly wait for the release of Healing the Dragon!

I was given this book to read and review. Jessie Donovan is a writer that writes with a GOLDEN PEN every last one of her books I have read are just AWESOME they are funny, sexy, loving and will grab you from the first page to the last. If you haven't read her books you are totally missing out on something that is a MAGNIFICENT READ. I have to say right off that Jessie Donovan has made me definitely a Fan for my life. I have fallen in love with her beautiful and ethereal style of writing and I cannot wait for more. She writes with such a fantastic attention to detail, all of her characters are MAGNIFICENT and they flow well together, and her settings in each of her stories are nothing short of vibrant. WOW and double WoW is how much I enjoyed this book. Revealing the Dragons rekindled my love of Tristan and Melanie. My love for a Melanie as a heroine is over the top she's funny, sexy, beautiful and you never know what will come from her. Jessie books always make the women strong a partner to their men, they are always thinking and planning how to help themselves and their men. Melanie is such a refreshing character you have to find her believable and realistic. This story just bring back Melanie and Tristan to catch with their life and a way in which gives their story real substance and how they are extraordinary in love and are brave together. This is a story that allows us to keep Bram, Evie, Arabella, Rai and brings the twins Jack, Annabel and introduces us to Melanie parents and brother. ( Wow a story with Melanie's brother ) :-) XOXO

I really cannot get enough of these books. The end of this particular book was wonderful! Determination by a human mother is ALWAYS a winner in my beliefs. More opportunities open up when minds open up!

This is not a standalone book. Please read Sacrificed to the Dragon and Seducing the Dragon to understand the background on the Stonefire Dragon clan and how Melanie and Tristan got together in the first place. Melanie is driven to write the book to reveal the true nature of the Dragon shifters and their world. This need is fueled by her love for Tristan, her children and her Clan. The reception to Melanie’s book is mixed, as expected. The release of Melanie’s book inspires attacks on the Department of Dragon Affairs and an attempt on Mel’s life during a news conference. A very old enemy reveals itself in addition to the dragon hunters. Jessie has written another wonderful addition to the Stonefire Dragon series. We also receive a few hints for what may come in the future for the series. What are they? No spoilers here, you will have to read the novella yourself. Some things don’t change from previous books though. Tristan is as horny as before and his dragon is worse, but they both love Melanie and with all their heart. Very HOT and steamy!

My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!  ***Received the ebook from the author from an honest review The cover is sexy and awesome! I would totally be drawn to pick it up in a bookstore :) This is a novella length book.  This is for adults only since it has some really steamy sex scenes.  It is recommended by the author that you read the Sacrificed to the Dragon boxed set first before reading this, but I think if you love that set, you should go ahead and read the Seducing the Dragon set before reading this too!!  While you won’t be lost, I think you will be wondering about things that are mentioned which happened in the 2nd set :) I really love Jessie’s writing style and especially this series.  I have loved them all and that is a feat all by itself because I usually have connection problems with serial series, but not with Jessie’s work.  Now this doesn’t mean that I don’t wish that each and every book was novel length because I never want her stories to end, but I have to take what I can get of this awesome dragon shifter world. I haven’t bought this book yet, but I will :)  This is about Melanie’s book release.  Lots of action which I always love, and I had some tears mixed in because there is a rollercoaster of emotions in this one, but I love that too!  Great authors can make you cry without meaning too because you are so involved in the lives of the characters you read about!  Okay I totally ready for more of this series especially Arabella’s upcoming story!! I highly recommend this series in its entirety to anyone who loves shifter romances especially if you are already partial to dragons :)

his book starts out with the publication and release of Melanie's book about the Dragon people. With the release there are interviews the first being outside the gates of Stonefire. It starts out well but is interrupted by a crazy with a hatred of dragons. Shots are fired but Melanie is saved by her husband, Tristan. The leader, Bram it grazed by a bullet but otherwise is okay. You can imagine the chaos that follows. Melanie is upset by this and when she and Tristan get back to their home they turn on the news and hear that the DDC headquarters has been bombed. Much talk speculation and finally planning take place to nip in the bud all the negative reactions.  They arrange for a Barbara Walters type of talk show person to come and interview Melanie and the dragon folk who have lost loved ones or been attacked and harmed by the dragon hunters. Arabella is one of the dragons who tell their stories and the tragedy  of her story sparks a raft of supporters among the humans.  The book ends on a happy, hopeful note with Arabella planning to foster with the Scottish dragon clan on Skye. If you read the previous story you will remember that Finn is the leader of that clan and there seemed to be an attraction between the two. I think the next book may just lead to another dragon mating...can't wait!

If you love books about shifters or even dragons you will love this book/series. I was gifted this book from the author for an honest review and I was thoroughly impressed with how she brought the characters alive in my mind through her words. I cannot wait until the next book in the series is released.

This novella ties together some loose ends of the entire Stonefire saga - but rather than being trite and boring and preachy, it's well written - and still super hot between Tristan and Mel!  You also get fore-shadowing of Arabella's continuing life, so don't miss this one!

Loved the book and series!

It was great, short, and an important transition to the next book. Of course, there is the steamy sex but, well, I don't want to spoil anything.....there are important issues addressed, which I again, I don't want to spoil. So good, I am on to the next in the series (that should say volumes right there).

I am so glad the author wrote this book. It was nice revisiting everyone and finding out what everyone has been doing and what the responds was to Melanie's book, not to mention how it was distributed.

UPDATE APRIL 2016: AUDIO -- I have now listened to the audio of the book. I loved it. Even if you have read the book, Mathew Lloyd Davies is a fabulous narrator. He brings this story to life even more than the words. I read the book months ago after becoming a Jessie Donovan addict. Each character is unique and wonderful. The danger, tender emotions, and fear is all there for us to hear as well as the drama. Melanie's book is out and she is ready to deal with the publicity. Or at least she thinks she is! This is another page turner. Ms Donovan builds characters that capture your heart and emotions, you love them or hate them. As for humor, the stoic Tristan and the inner battles with his dragon had me laughing out loud. If human men think about sex every 8 seconds, Dragon men think about it every 4 seconds. Considering his original antipathy to humans, his mate has Tristan and his dragon enthralled and over protective to say the very least. The couple and their twins are loving and adorable. The effort to introduce the real dragon life to humans is to give Melanie a chance to reconnect with her human family which has been denied. All is not without danger and enemies. Watch the clan come together and the efforts to change the world for their children. We get to revisit many of the beloved characters from the first two series of the Stonefire dragons. They are growing and even more in love. Ms Donovan sets up more interest in the disfigured Arabella, Tristan’s sister and the other dragon leader – if the other readers are like me they are anxious for the next story. I was provided an ARC for an honest review.

This novella was so necessary to the series. It chronicles the publication of Mel's book and it's affect on the dragons and England. Very good addition.

AMAZING!!! Just like all of the books in this series before it, Revealing the Dragons was a fantastic read!! You get more of an in depth view of Tristen and Melanie's relationship and see the passion that she has developed for the dragonshifters. It's nice to get the feeling that the dragon hunters are about to get their comeuppance because of her determination to let humans get a glimpse of the dragon world. While this story had some steamy scenes in it, it was more story based than sex which I loved because you get a better grasp of who the characters are deep down. Jessie has done it again and set it up wonderfully for the next books in the set!! I can't wait!!! :D

Little did Melanie know that sacrificing herself to a dragon shifter would change her life so much. She didn't stay the one year required, but made a good life and fell in love. She has written a book about her new life and it is out and she is ready to deal with the publicity. Or at least she thinks she is! This is another page turner. Ms Donovan builds characters that capture your heart and emotions, you love them or hate them. As for humor, the stoic Tristan and the inner battles with his dragon had me laughing out loud. Excitement from all angles This is a wonderfully well written installment in the Stonefire Dragons series.  You have Melanie releasing her book and what may come from that.  You have Arabella still thinking about going to Finn’s clan as a foster.  And then there’s a new threat that no one expected.  With the dragon hunters still out there and possible connections inside the DDA, you never can tell what might happen next.  Very exciting and entertaining story that kept me riveted while reading.

Great story that continues the lives of dragons and their mates.  I really enjoyed this story I think that Jessie just gets better and better.
