Editorial Reviews

As austere and graceful as their pastel covers, the Abram's Daughters novel series by Beverly Lewis invites us into an Old Order community where good people wrestle with problems of faith, love, and responsibility. The Revelation brings this gripping three-generation story to an unforgettable multi-tiered conclusion.
Romantic Times
"Lewis ties up the threads of love, tragedy, and intrigue woven throughout the first four novels. Her signature fluency in Amish life delights as always."

A Romance Review
"The Revelation is the powerful conclusion to the ABRAM'S DAUGHTERS series. I enjoyed reading this book and seeing how it all panned out in the end. The Mast and Ebersol families will long hold a place in my heart; Beverly Lewis has done a masterful job creating their characters. It was a joy watching them grow."
Romance Junkies
"Beverly Lewis wraps up her five-book series, ABRAM'S DAUGHTERS, with The Revelation . It is a touching, tender story of Leah and Jonas and their deep love and longing for each other. A long-kept secret will finally be revealed, touching the lives of several families. All loose ties from past novels in this series are tied up, and readers will be pleased with its conclusion. I highly recommend the whole ABRAM'S DAUGHTERS series to inspirational romance lovers."

I love reading your books and learning how the Amish live. I think it is very interesting. I also love going to the country stores in Pennsylvania where the Amish sell their stuff. I love their food, it is so good.

I enjoyed the series...finishing the first of the series makes you want to go to the next. I have to admit I was surprised at the Bishop, and of the deceit and secrets of the Amish in this book. But they always looked to God for guidance.

I really enjoyed this series. There were unexpected twists that kept holding my interest to the very end. I love Beverly Lewis as a writer of the Amish stories. She's the best I've ever read.

This is an amazing story that brings the series to a close. It allows the readers to imagine how the lives of Abram's Daughters will move ahead. Beverly Lewis is an incredible author and I will definitely read her books again and would highly recommend them to anyone who has an interest in the Amish Community. I grew up not far from Lancaster County, PA and while I am not Amish, I was rasied with some of the same traditions that they follow.

Lewis' depction of Lancaster County is lovely and well-crafted, as is her writing. She also has a psychic window into the hearts of women and relationships between them.

I enjoyed the first 4 books in this series but it should have been concluded in the 4th book. By postponing the ending to write a 5th book the story became overdrawn. Some of the story lines were a bit over the top and I felt that the author was stretching the subplots to make the book long enough to satisfy the publisher.

A fitting and beautiful end to this amazing series. Every book is as good as the last!
