From the Publisher

Revelations of Divine Love is dense, deeply intuitive, and theologically complex. The last thirty years have seen several translations, some academic, others literal, but none quite like this one which capture's Julian's deepest meanings and liberates her inspired insights.
According to John-Julian in the introduction to Revelations of Divine Love, Julian of Norwich (1342-ca.1416) was an English recluse who recounted the poignant, subtle, and radical insights granted to her in sixteen visions of the crucified Christ as she lay on what was believed to be her deathbed. Her miraculous recovery from that illness led to twenty more years of reflection and contemplation and finally to her writing this detailed account of her mystical experience.
Revelations of Divine Love is an essential guide to living a Christian life. This translation captures Julian’s deepest meanings and liberates her inspired insights. — sirreadalot.org

I read this in a college class and I fell in love with her language. It's been about 6 months since I read it so I don't remember very many details, however, her words inspired me to ask God for things that I had always wanted but never had the strength for. Through her I have opened a new chapter in my faith. This truly is a work of art. There are neither words that I could say that would do enough justice to the message or the meaning of this work, nor are there words that I would write that would help anyone to understand how this book has affected my life. All I can say is that to believe me you must read it, and if you do there will be no regrets.
