BOOK SYNOPSIS (or watch YouTube video through link above)

For Police Commissioner Morton Howe it was always business as usual in London, England. He and his team of detectives were quite accustomed to the evils of men with their sins of violence, love for money, and lust. His occupation brought all types and his precinct handled anything, but in 1841, at age 42, things would turn out to be much different. A gruesome triple murder at a farmhouse in a neighboring borough by some monstrous diabolical beast evokes fear in the people that live there. When a London university professor of science goes missing, a search of his property reveals a laboratory containing a mysterious dark iron cage. A rumor went privately among the detectives that he had been housing a large black wolf, the type of creature a zoologist reported it could be by the mutilating bite marks upon the flesh of recovered livestock. One by one, Commissioner Howe is witness to crime scenes of murder wherein the victims are persons he is secretly tied to as if the bloodthirsty killer is working his way down a list. No one else suspects he greatly fears that whoever or whatever is responsible will be coming for him.

An opium addict drowning in the brothels of the night, a violent prisoner released after abusing his wife and child, a turncoat blacksmith who kills for greed, a good family man raising seven children on a farm far from civilization, a police commissioner frantically working the cases to protect his life and position, and an unknown and unforgiving traveler with a dark secret will all be fatefully led together down a terrifying path of nightmares, retribution, and death.

Revenge of the Wolf is a tale of one man's struggle to forgive and to be forgiven when hatred is given unrestrained and unquenchable power.

Editorial Reviews

Movies and Manuscripts Blogspot - Nathan Mercer
This novel is very complex in the number of characters, flashbacks, and plot turns that are involved. However, it is the complexity that makes this an enjoyable read instead of putting the reader to sleep. If you are a fan of horror, this book has you covered. If you like thrillers, that's in there too. Romance? No, this isn't Twilight. That's not a bad thing. For once, the "monsters" do what they do best -strike fear and terror into people and kill them instead of falling in love with them. - Tina Morrison
This book does not follow the genre I normally read and although a little skeptical, I finished it in less than two days. Revenge of the Wolf is not an easy read, full of detail and intrigue, it takes you on a mystery set in the 1800's about dark secrets the characters have carried most of their lives. This book keeps you guessing from the beginning and then the details come together quite nicely at the end.
ARC Review - Heather Marie
This book is not what you think! It was suspenseful and very good! It is beautifully written and poetic. I loved all the different characters; some were strange, some were evil, but so many of them had my heart! It was an emotional roller coaster; I went from being scared to happy, to nail-biting, to actually crying! It was a very emotional book for me! I recommend this book to anyone whether they like horror books or not! This story is very spiritual with deep moral themes. An Excellent Read!

Meet the Author

Wyatt Michael is a musician, singer, songwriter, suspense/thriller novelist, artist, actor, and screenwriter. He owns Michael & Company Pictures, a film production company that he writes for.

Throughout his teens and early twenties, his Alternative Rock music was showcased on many radio stations from Ohio to California (before internet radio was an idea). Later, he and his co-writer built a recording studio and taught themselves how to use it. Over the next six years, his band, Only Makebelieve, recorded and finally released Message from a Mockingbird, an Alternative Pop masterpiece album that received rave reviews from critics all over the world. The group toured and promoted the album, which also ran on national college radio. Through stressful job situations - working nights in dark factories for years on end and driving semis across ice-covered mountains, Wyatt created a mental way of escape - writing stories. He began to write film scripts and his friends found them to be worthy of the screen. He started a film production company called Michael & Company Pictures to later accommodate them. After getting a feel for the new creative form, Wyatt took on the daunting endeavor: The Whaler Fortune - his first novel. Being pleased with its worth, and after a break in which he performed in several major stage plays, he followed with, Revenge of the Wolf - his second novel. He lives in beautiful North Carolina with his beautiful wife and beautiful daughter.
