Overview

Book #3 in the Storm MC Series.

He doesn’t do relationships. Neither does she. But they can’t fight the attraction any longer…

Nash Walker hides the demons that consume his soul. He buries them deep and distracts himself with sex. Anything to avoid facing a past full of heartbreak and regret; anything to numb the pain that he struggles with daily.

Velvet Carr has spent years fighting her demons. It’s a fight she’s winning. That is, until Nash crashes his way into her life and into her heart.

It started out as a bit of harmless fun between friends; it wasn’t meant to get complicated for either of them. But when two broken souls come together and arouse unwanted feelings in each other, complicated is what happens.

Can Nash and Velvet help heal each other and revive the love in their lives that they’ve both been refusing to allow in for years? Or will they let their demons ruin any chance they may have at happiness?

    Revive, Storm #3

Loved Nash and Velvet's unconventional love story, and the struggles that they both faced that brought them into each others lives...not to mention all the hot Alpha sex, which was great too. Looking forward to the next book, as the continuing storyline within this book of the Storm M C, and revisiting the couples from previous books that I loved, is amazingly addictive. Thanks for another great book Nina Levine! tweeted

I was very excited to finally get my hands on Nash. From previous books he's the hot badass who screws his way through women and isn't the "settling" type. However, you get little glimpses of the demons he carries daily and I knew that his story was going to blow my mind.

First you have Nash. You view him as the care-free "man whore" of the bikers. He goes after any woman and every woman, and has a mouth that could melt the panties off of them. But underneath that carefree exterior Nash is battling demons that he hasn't found a way to push out after 10 years. Little does he know, the only way to exercise those demons is to open himself up to possibly being hurt again.

Velvet is the best stripper at Indigo and has been friends with Nash for 4 years now. Her own past wasn't a pretty one either, because of her ex-husband, but she has dealt with those demons and become a stronger person for them. I absolutely loved Velvet's character. She is a witch with a "b" and knows what she wants and won't let anything or anyone stop her.

Velvet and Nash have some speed bumps to make their relationship a success. The first is opening themselves up to each other and getting over the fear of being hurt and trusting each other.

I related to Velvet and I love that Nina has the ability to write in a way that the readers connect with characters. I will warn readers there is a huge twist at the end of this book that will leave you asking "WHAT THE HELL!" but I can't wait to see where Nina takes us next!

    Mintcloud's Shadow ~ Chapter 2

A dry, fluffy object bounced off a sleeping Mintkit's cheek. She woke up, started, to see the smiling faces of Ashkit, Featherkit, and Flowerkit, Harewind and Dustpath's only kit, hovering over her. Flowerkit held a ball of moss in her jaws.
"We want you to play Mossball with us," squeaked Flowerkit. She was only slightly younger than Mintkit and her siblings, but much smaller. Mintkit stood and stretched; her paw went to her cheek to brush of the greenish moss off her milky, light brown fur.
"Alright, alright," she sighed before looking around the Nursery. Winterberry was curled asleep in the corner, and Harewind was dozing, too, but in a sitting position. Dustpath and Tabbypelt must be out doing their warrior duties. She snickered at how Harewind fell asleep. "What's up with her?" Flowerkit glanced at her mother and sighed.
"She was supposed to be watching us, but I guess her tiredness won out. She would've never let us play mossball, though. This is our only chance to have fun." Mintkit met Flowerkit's bright green gaze again.
"Ok, then. I'm ready." Almost immidiately, Ashkit reached behind him to grab his own hidden mossball, icy blue eyes standing out against his smoky black fur, sparkling in mischief. He beamed Mintkit in the ear, and she flinched. When she looked up again, another mossball was in midair, inches from her face. It hit her in the wide-open mouth, and she gagged as the fluffy moss tickled her throat. Mintkit spat out the green plant, pawing out any last scraps off her tongue. She looked up to see Flowerkit and Ashkit laughing hysterically, but Featherkit was giggling the most, rolling on the ground and acting as if she couldn't breathe.
"Featherkit, did you throw that?" She growled, annoyed. Her creamy white-furred sister nodded in reply, still snickering. "Why? I was only just recovering from Ashkit's mossball. You could've batted yours at Flowerkit or Ashkit. It isn't fair that you guys are teaming up on me."
"But your reaction is hysterical! And we all know that you wouldn't hit us back, either," sneered Flowerkit as she flicked a scrap of moss at Mintkit. It landed on her nose and she sneezed, sending another wave of roaring laughter rippling through her siblings and denmate. She shook out her fur in embarassment, skin growing hot as a smoking ember in anger. Her patience snapped, and she charged at Flowerkit and, with sheathed claws, sent a gentle blow to her ear. Mintkit made sure it was a lightweight strike, and it was. But Flowerkit flew backwards as if she had ripped her ear off, and wailed louder then Mintkit had ever heard any cat cry. Harewind and Winterberry snapped awake at once, and crowded around Flowerkit, soothing her with hushed whispers.
"Shh, it's ok, Flowerkit. Hush now... Shh... Can you tell us what happened?" Harewind meowed gently.
"She attacked me! Mintkit! I didn't even do anything, and she randomly came over and shredded my ear!" Yelled Flowerkit. Mintkit, who was covered in moss and frozen to her spot in fear and disbelief, caught Flowerkit give her a knowing, smug grin for a split second, then went back to blubbering.
(Here are the rules for character apps: two apps per person, and make the cats realistic. I may not use some, fyi, but I will try to gradually introduce characters. You can add in what they do, but tbh, I already planned out the story and I wil probably not use them.) -&#1071|Reflections&#9830

I've come to LOVE Nina Levine's work, she sets her standards high, so when I go into read her books I know I'm in for a treat. Boy did she treat me big time with Nash & Velvet's story.

Revive is book 3 (read as book 4) in the Storm MC series & as I mentioned prior it's focus is mainly on Nash, with all our other fav Storm men & women popping in. The story in the background is still revolving around the club with all it's trouble. But Nash & Velvet almost make you forget what's going on, their story is emotional, heart warming & heart wrenching. Which is nothing if not what Nina does best, again I couldn't put the book down until I was finished & I was left wanting more.

    Favorite Quotes:

“That voice could charm a habit off a nun.”

    My Review:

The most charismatic character so far, as well as the most broken and damaged. Well written, could not put it down. Cannot wait to read the next one.

This is my favorite Nina Levine book to date. The cover is haunt

This is my favorite Nina Levine book to date. The cover is hauntingly beautiful. The dedication inside caught my breath - "To all the women who have had their self worth crushed by someone they loved..." I knew I was going to cry while reading this book. And I did a few times. I've been there. I was willing to go again with Nash and Velvet.
Nash Walker is a hot hunk of troubled man. If I didn’t love Griff so much, I would so be Team Nash! He is definitely sex on two wheels!
Velvet might just be my favorite heroine of the Storm MC books. I just love her! I want to be friends with her! Hell, I wanna watch her dance! (You know you do, too!)
The sex was hot, the MC politics was suspenseful and the anguish was heartbreaking.
I cried, I laughed, I yelled (yes, I yell at my Kindle!) and I fell in love more with the Storm Boys! Sigh...
Read this book! Read the series! Fall in love with them too!

    Reviving rp!~TJ

Okay, this isn't going to be a long post, but hear me out. Roleplay is slowly dying. Don't deny it. It is. It is very sad, and I think we should stop this terrible fate. My idea is very simple. You all remember how you first got into rp? You probably were checking out a erin hunter book. For as long as I can remember, 'erin hunter' has been the center of rp life. My idea is that we branch out a bit. Maybe post a few demigod camp ads at 'percy jackson' all results. Or maybe some survival rps at 'hunger games'. These rps will only collect people from these results, so we can be sure they are new. Now, I still want to have a central area for ads, so once a couple people join, tell them to advertise at the erin hunter books. Repeat the process a few times, and rp just might come back to life! I hope you guys like this idea. If you have any questions, post them at next result! I can talk to people there!
