Meet the Author

William Billy" Neumann is a professional photographer 24/7/365. Any spare time leftover is totally devoted to telling the history and preserving the historic character of the Borough of Rutherford, NJ. So while photographing CEOs, celebrities and commercial real estate he constantly thinks about how to save the Dutch stone house on Meadow Rd or how to tell the story of the local architecture of Edgar I Williams.
He graduated from the Drew University Historic Preservation Certification Program and was a five time elected Chairman of Rutherford's Historic Preservation Commission. He has served on the boroughs Planning Commission, Downtown Partnership and originated the First Night Rutherford festival. He is a member of Bergen County's Historic Preservation Advisory Board and a Trustee on the Board of Directors for Paterson Habitat for Humanity. He is always available to speak about Rutherford history, historic preservation, photography and Habitat for Humanity."
