Preface

During the past 20-plus years, the two of us have delivered more than 1,000 lectures to corporations, small businesses, government agencies, nonprofit institutions, social organizations, service clubs, and universities in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, South America, and Mexico. As we recently reflected on these experiences, one of the things that struck us was the amount of confusion that surrounds the act of caring about others. While most people quickly admit that caring about others is a good thing to do, they fail to appreciate two very important aspects of caring: how huge the return is that comes back to you from caring and how quickly your personal and professional lives can change for the better once you start. Revved! introduces three easy steps that will show you how to maximize the return that comes back to you from caring. Winning Them Over shows you how to get others excited about going the extra mile for you, Blowing Them Away shows you how to take that excitement to the next level, and Keeping Them Revved! shows you how to sustain that high level of excitement indefinitely. As you put these three steps into practice, your success at work will immediately begin to skyrocket and your personal life will thrive as never before.

    Get revved.

No need for a long review here. It's a simple, to the point book that contains a short story which illustrates the power that comes from showing others that you care. To accomplish this, the book offers a simple 3-step program (win them over, blow them away, and keep them revved). The book is mainly for managers but casual readers will like it as well.
