This is a good story but very wordy It reads like a play , but behind the almost 'Shakesperian"(sic) language it was an enjoyable story

The story ended abruptly after starting out slow and monotonously, however it did get interesting in the middle and up to the end. There just wasn't a complete ending unless the author intended to write a sequel.

I cant believe how this story ended. There is no resolution to what happened to Olwen, Eleanor/Gwales, Bronwen reuniting with her mother. What happened to Olwen's children? And did Olwen ever find out about Richard's death? There were elements of good writing that were drowned out by boring and endless dithering. What a strange way to end the book.
