More About This Book

Overview

Why do some people fight all of the time with the people they love? Why are some people so loving, forgiving and understanding while others cruel, hateful, and violent? Why do we feel depleted when someone keeps talking to us incessantly? Why is it so exhilarating when we feel like someone truly understands us? Why are some people constantly stressed and anxious even when they seem like they have everything possible? Why are some people able to remain calm, relaxed, and caring even in the most difficult and hopeless circumstances? Why do some experiences feel spiritual? How can we become more emotionally stable? What is the real purpose of fighting? What is the purpose of consciousness? Where is evolution taking us? This book suggests a simple way to answer these questions with a single theory. It provides us with insights concerning why we are the way we are and how we fit into the larger scheme of things. It also provides us with insights about how we can break out of our shells to take the next step in our own personal development and make a positive contribution to the process of evolution.

Best book on internal conflict and relationships!

I am a counselor and I have read many books on internal conflict and relationships. I have never read a book that explains internal mental conflict and its effects better than this author. I hope many people use this book as a tool for self-development, relationship enhancement, and the general pursuit of happiness. It is not overly technical. It uses many metaphors we can relate to and is accessible to a wide range of readers. You won't regret buying it.

Very Interesting! But there is a better one.

This is a very interesting book but the other book by Sato, 'The Ever-Transcending Spirit' is much better. It is much better organized and explains the theory in more depth. Apparently the author figured out a few things after he wrote 'Rhythm, Relationships, and Transcendence' and so 'The Ever-Transcending Spirit' is a more organized and more comprehensive explanation of the whole thing. I'd definitely recommend 'The Ever-Transcending Spirit'. It is an extraordinary book that helps us understand so many things in life. If you read that one, there is no need to read this one.

    This book is amazing!

I was first exposed to some of Dr. Sato's ideas in college and was inspired by the things he discussed in his class and also the way he discussed them. When I found his book, I immediately bought it and read it. As expected, I was inspired and learned even more than from his class. This book really helped me understand the deep dynamics of relationships and the true meaning of personal development. After reading this book, I think you will feel that life is not always easy, but it is always a beautiful and worthwhile journey.
