Meet the Author

Born in the Lone Star State, Becky grew up riding & showing Quarter Horses and Paints. In college she combined her love of riding with a love of writing, working for a publisher penning articles on horses and riding. Today, she writes equine adventure stories for children and adults.

Becky is the author of Ribbon Chasers, the first book in the Barn Girls’ Series, Texas Rein, a contemporary western romance, and The Serpent and the Stallion, a high fantasy novel written with co-author L.R. Giles. Currently Becky is working on the next book in the Barn Girls’ Series, Goombay Gallop, and a new series called Dolphin Dreams. She is a winner of the Texas University Interscholastic League State Feature Writing Championship, and a top 9 finalist in Jerry Jenkins’ Operation First Novel.

Becky lives in the Shenendoah Valley, Virginia with her husband, James, her children, Austin, Wesley, and Arielle, and various four-legged family.
