About the Author

Michael Morrison was born in Springfield, Oregon. His ancestors were loggers and as a young boy he lived across from a sawmill. He says “I have sawdust in my veins.” He had a brief moment in the woods before going on to a varied career that included mapmaker and small business owner. He was called into ministry late in life and served a small rural church and a home fellowship. Now retired, he lives in the wheat country of Eastern Oregon with his wife of 41 years, Teresa, a laboratory manager. He has been writing for about 6 years; this is his first novel. He hopes to publish a collection of short stories and poems called Like Jade in Sunlight.
